Dr Kirsten is a specialist in Veterinary Dental and Oromaxillfacial services. Currently she takes case referrals for orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oromaxilifacial surgery and endodontics procedures.
After graduating from Murdoch University in Western Australia, Dr Kirsten worked as a small animal practitioner and practice owner until she completed her Veterinary Dentistry qualifications.
As a Board Certified Dentist with the American Veterinary Dental college, she is one of only 6 specialist in Australia and the only practitioner in Adelaide that is a registered specialist in Veterinary Dentistry.
Dr Nick is part of the Oromaxillofacial Surgical team at AVDOS and has an extensive career in Surgery and Emergency Critical Care.
After Completing his degree in Biomedical Science he continued further study completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland. Dr Nick then focused his career towards animal emergency surgery completing two internships in Melbourne. Currently Dr Nick is completing a residency program with the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and will be working towards his Dentistry and Oromaxillofacial credentials in the near future.
Dr Nick’s areas of interest include facial trauma reconstruction, brachycephalic respiratory surgery (BOAS), oncological surgery. While not at work Dr Nick enjoys fishing, working out and spending time with his partner and his two dogs Penelope and Toretto.

Having been assisting Veterinary Surgeons for over 20 years , Lesley is our most senior Vet Nurse at AVDOS.
When teeth conditions arose in her own pets, Lesley became interested in the veterinary dentistry profession and has since dedicated her career to supporting and developing relative practices.
Lesley is a devoted pet mummy to her 4 Miniature Schnauzers and Devon Rex cat Runckle. When she’s not walking or showing her dogs, Lesley loves spending time with her 2 beautiful grandchildren.
Having completed her qualifications in 2001, Emma brings extensive industry knowledge to the AVDOS team.
Since finishing her veterinary nurse studies at the Glascow Vet School, Emma has gained experience in surgical and ophthalmology roles around the globe. Now settled in Adelaide, Emma supports the AVDOS vets in Dental and Oromaxillofacial Surgery.
Emma has always loved animals and in her spare time she enjoys taking her labrador Ruthie to the beach.

Since completing her Veterinary Nursing Qualifications in 2005, Leanne has developed her skill set across numerous specialised areas including Surgery, Dentistry and Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome management.
With over 20 years experience working within the Veterinary profession, Leanne enjoys educating fellow nurses and developing her own professional interests.
When Leanne isn’t supporting her kids on the side of the netball court, she is walking her very mischievous Ridgeback/Labrodoor cross Reggie.
Emily has known from a very young age that she would pursue a career working with animals and completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at the University of Adelaide. Wanting to be apart of making change around oral and dental hygiene in animals, Emily has been a part of the AVDOS team for 1 year now and is excited about furthering her career specifically in the Dentistry Field.
Emily is a busy bee when she’s not at AVDOS spending her spare time hiking, road tripping and settling down with a good book.

Steph is passionate about animals and their well being. Steph studied and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002 at The University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, in South Africa. She spent the first five years of my career in private practice and general practice clinics before transitioning to Emergency and Referral Hospitals, where she gained 15 years of experience. During those 15 years, Steph was promoted to head nurse. In 2022, Steph moved to Australia where she is continuing her career. She has a strong passion for Emergency and Critical Care.
Outside of work, Steph enjoy staying active through running, cycling, and hiking.
